  • WHAT IS 5G?

   The fifth-generation mobile network is referred to as 5G. After 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, it is a new global wireless standard. 5G allows for the creation of a new type of network that connects virtually anyone and everything, including computers, objects, and devices.


     5G wireless infrastructure is designed to provide multi-gigabit per second peak data rates, ultra-low latency, improved reliability, huge network bandwidth, increased availability, and a more consistent user interface to a larger number of devices. Higher performance and productivity allow for new user experiences and industry connections.

  •  What are the gaps between past mobile network generations and 5G?
 =>1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G are the past generations of mobile networks.
  • The first version, 1G, was developed in the 1980s and delivered an analog speech.
  • 2G stands for second generation.2G launched robotic speech in the early 1990s.
  • 3G stands for third generation.3G was introduced in the early 2000s, bringing cell data to the masses.
  • 4G LTE stands for the fourth generation. In the decade of the 2010s, 4G LTE ushered in a new age of mobile broadband.

1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G all lead to 5G, which is intended to have more access than ever before.


  •  How fast is 5G?

According to IMT-2020 specifications, 5G is expected to offer peak data speeds of up to 20 Gbps. Qualcomm Technologies' flagship 5G solution, the Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM X65, is capable of downlink peak data speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
